Another week is ending. It seems a lot longer when you're up most of the night feeding little people :) Both the kids are asleep now so I'm taking the opportunity to report! Shay had a potty accident last night, but I was feeding Kade so Zack had to deal with it...I enjoy watching him struggle with things I get to deal with (and struggle with) on a daily basis. I think its good for him. Shay was darling yesterday with her stuffed animals. She was 'nursing' them, putting them in diapers and then rocking them in Kade's swing. She's a little mommy in training! Also makes me very aware that she is watching what I'm doing...hope I'm setting a good example! We are trying to get things together for Kade's blessing on Sunday. Its a pain really. We have to feed over 20 people and the only place we can get together is in our little duplex. I tend to get a bit anxious and overwhelmed when I have lots of people over. Not to mention everyone is going to be wanting to hold Kade and play with shay (who will probably be missing a nap because of it). I"m glad I can nurse Kade as an excuse to get him away from people. I have nothing to use for Shay. I don't want either of them getting sick because of this! Just mommy worries I guess! I'm excited for him to be blessed, but I'll be glad when its over. I really wish my parents and Nate could be here for it. I miss them a lot. I'm so glad we can Skype and actually see each other that way. I was able to see/talk with my dad today over Skype. He's been traveling for the last week. He looked good and I love talking with him. I enjoy bragging about how things are going :)
Zack was observed by the Assistant principal yesterday and he's going to write a letter of recommendation for him either toady or Monday. He also got an email from Littlefield Arizona asking him to send in an application! He met with them at the Teachers Fair but didn't interview with them. He gave them his resume and then they emailed us! He seems very excited about this. We'll see where it leads but my first choice is still Star Valley Wyoming. It'll be interesting to see what our future holds!
